- 1 cup sifted flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 Egg — well beaten
- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter — melted
- Sift flour once, measure, add baking powder and salt, sift again.
- Combine milk and egg and add to flour.
- Stir only until smooth.
- Add butter. Bake on hot, well-greased griddle.
- Serve hot with Log Cabin Syrup.
- Makes 12 cakes.
