Old Fashioned Tea Cakes
- 1 c butter
- 1 c sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 3 1\2 c plain flour cinnamon sugar
1. Cream butter and sugar together, then add eggs, nutmeg and flour.
2. Mix well. Form the dough into three 2 inch rolls and wrap in waxed paper. Chill for three hours.
3. Slice in 1\4 inch thick pieces. Place on ungreased baking sheet.
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
